WELCOME TO THE HEALTH, AGED & DISABILITY CARE
WORKFORCE LEADERS FORUM NZ
The New Zealand health, aged, and disability care sectors are facing unprecedented workforce challenges against the backdrop of once in a generation reform. Unfortunately, discussions on workforce usually centre on competition between sectors and countries for a dwindling pool of workers.
Collaboration instead of competition is required to create an efficient, diverse, highly skilled, culturally competent, and modern workforce capable of providing equitable and accessible healthcare for all New Zealanders.
Bringing together workforce leaders from across these three sectors, this national Forum will offer the opportunity to:
-
Hear how healthcare providers and other sectors have implemented strategies to overcome workforce shortages
-
Discuss models to drive workforce efficiencies, optimise technology, develop skillsets and build a greater connection between industry and educators
-
Forge the partnerships to elevate health outcomes for all New Zealanders
